Hours and Admission
At this time we are temporarily closed to the public. Please check back for our re-opening plan!
We take our role in this community very seriously and although we had NO known infection, we closed our facility on March 13, 2020 to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Subsequently, the governor’s stay at home order mandated our closure through May.
While the buildings for most children’s museums in Wisconsin and across the United States are still closed, we are still committed to supporting your child’s development, providing fun ways to engage in learning through play. As long as it is financially feasible, we will continue providing Museum Fun from Home.
We can’t wait to see you back at the museum. Until then, let’s stay connected! Sign up for our electronic newsletters and/or connect with us on Facebook. We are also gearing up for text alerts to help with our reopening. Email your contact information to firstname.lastname@example.org.
CMFDL will be closed on the following holidays:
- Easter Sunday
- Memorial Day
- Fourth of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
- New Year’s Eve
Infants (Under 1): Free
Admission tickets are non-refundable but can be applied towards the purchase of a membership on the day of visit.
We believe that all children should have access to the Museum regardless of their financial situation. By filling out the Every Child, Every Family Request Form, families can qualify for assistance and only pay what they are able, whether that is $30 or $0. All requests must be approved by CMFDL.
