About the Museum
Mission, Vision & Guiding Principles
Children’s Museums are places where discovery and curiosity are brought to life through a touchable learn-by-doing atmosphere designed to foster creativity and a passion for lifelong learning. In a children’s museum, children and adults play, learn and have fun together. CMFDL serves over 45,000 visitors annually onsite and at community events.
The mission of the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac is to support childhood development utilizing innovative exhibits and programs that engage children, their caregivers, and the community in lifelong learning through play.
The vision is to provide a safe place where all children can learn about their communities and culturally diverse world.
