School Programs
For 4th Grade Classrooms
Moola Mania is a two-hour free field trip program offered at the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac. This event encourages students to cultivate healthy personal financial skills by educating future generations of consumers. The content in Moola Mania aligns with 4th grade personal financial literacy curriculum and performance standards.
During the field trip, your students will be able to earn “Museum Moola” by performing a number of “jobs” around the Museum. After they have completed their jobs and income has been earned, students will have a chance to make financial decisions such as saving, sharing, and spending.

Coding with Dash and Dot was developed and piloted in 2018 to introduce girls in 3rd to 5th grade to computer sciences, a field that is largely underrepresented by females. The goal of the program is to support the development of technology literacy, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. The U.S. Department of Labor notes that computer-related jobs are one of the nation’s fastest growing sectors. Dash and Dot exposes young girls to positive, engaging and fun computer related experiences.
If your school or organization is interested in sharing this quality hands on learning experience with girls in 3rd – 5th grade. Contact CMFDL at (920) 929-0707 or email info@cmfdl.org.
