Current Openings:  Play Maker

Job Responsibilities: Support staff position, working directly with visitors, on the museum floor, and during scheduled birthday parties.  Includes doing shift cleaning and regular museum walk-throughs. The employee is required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in museum spaces. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds unassisted. During the summer, need to be available between the hours of 9am-5pm on Saturdays, weekdays flexible between 9-4 or 5pm. (Will work around school hours and extra curricular activities)

QUALIFICTIONS
 Proven ability to communicate both orally and in writing with a wide variety of
individuals.
 1-2 years of experience in a retail or customer service position preferred.
 Experience with and ability to meet deadlines.
 Experience with leading a small or large group
 Evidence of experience with prioritizing and critical thinking.                                     Enjoys working with the public, meeting new people and coaching others
(CMFDL Team, volunteers, and children/families).                                                           Candidate must be approachable, with a positive attitude, enjoys creative projects, and is a team player
