Parent Cafés are welcoming gatherings where parents and caregivers discuss real-life challenges and successes while children enjoy fun playtime in the museum. Afterwards, everyone comes together to enjoy a free meal. Participants leave with new ideas and connections. Each session is free for attendees and includes museum play.
Expressing feelings is not easy for most, but can be particularly difficult for children who may be going through loss, change, or grief. Lori Tschetter, APSW Bereavement Specialist with SSM Health, will lead this cafe on supporting children through grief.
