Mom works so hard to make sure the family is all taken care of, let’s celebrate all her efforts!  On Saturday, May 11th bring mom for FREE admission and make cards and crafts and enjoy a photo backdrop to capture the memories of quality family time!

SCREEN-FREE WEEK! (Bingo Challenge the month of May)

Join us the first week in May to take a break from entertainment screens and experience more peace, connection, and fun! Each day, visit the Children’s Museum for a special giveaway (limited to the first 50 visitors) and enjoy the transformative power of play while engaging your mind and body at our fun exhibits. 

Each family is invited to pick up a Screen Free Activities BINGO board throughout the month of May and commit to a “Screen Free Challenge”. Anyone can participate! Simply choose the platforms/apps/devices most problematic for you or your family, set a goal (take an hour off, a day, or the whole week!) and enjoy the free time that opens! Turn in your Screen Free Challenge at the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac at our Panel Discussion for a special prize and Character

Brain Builders

  • Friday & Saturdays at 10:30-11:30
  • Did you know that your child’s brain grows the fastest between birth – age 5? We will identify important brain building moments throughout the Museum with simple and fun activities that you can do at home.  Inspired by Vroom.org
  • Instructors: Dr. Mary Schultz and the CMFDL Dream Team ~ Made possible by the Wisconsin Child Abuse & Neglect Prevention Board & The Gnewuch Family

Story Time & Interactive Fun

  • Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays at 10:00
  • Inspire your child’s love of reading in this fun story time session that will also feature movement & hands-on activities!

Science Lab

  • Thursdays at 11:00
  • Engage in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math in our Science Lab Classroom with instructor led activities.
  • Instructor: Laural Wilson ~ Support provided by the Gnewuch Family

Smart Moves

Fridays at 2:00

Dance, Bounce, Wiggle, and Learn! This program will get kids up and moving while building their minds!

LeCordon Kids-(Starts back June 12th for the summer months)

  • Wednesdays at 11:00
  • Express your inner Chef in this hands-on culinary class. Fit with fun and food!

Networking and Community Programming

Baby Networking–First Time Parent

Thursday, June 13th | Times: 10-12 pm or 4-6 pm. Guests are encouraged to pre-register and may arrive anytime during the session.

Enjoy an opportunity to connect with other parents and learn more about CMFDL as a resource as well as other Community Programs available to you and your family. This event is sure to be filled with lots of songs, smiling faces, and silly sounds.  Ideal for new parents, but those with older children are also welcome.

First time parents receive a free annual membership* for babies 18 months and under.* Limited to first 50 families.
