Solid Foundations Initiative
The Solid Foundations Initiative is a core outreach and access program of the Children's Museum of Fond du Lac (CMFDL), designed to support families and promote early brain development through community-driven engagement. Launched in Spring 2019, this initiative encompasses four primary components:
- First Time Parent Membership Program
- Baby Networking Events
- Brain Builders
- Parent Cafes
The Solid Foundations Initiative connects families with museum resources and each other, creating a supportive network during the critical early years of child development. With previous state funding no longer available, CMFDL seeks community partners to sustain this impactful programming through a targeted 3-year fundraising campaign.
