New Family Event at 2013 Walleye Weekend

Join the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac for the Walleye Weekend Family Bike Ride on Sunday, June 9th at 9:00 a.m. This is a
fantastic way to have a great time with your family all while facilitating healthy and fun habits!

“Fond du Lac has become a bike riding community, and the family ride is a perfect way to take a family ride while doing good for a community cause,” says Executive Director of Fond du Lac Festivals, Leanne Doyle. “Walleye Weekend is Fond du Lac’s opportunity to kick off summer including a great biking season. We hope to see families taking advantage of this ride.”

The Walleye Weekend Family Bike Ride is one of the many new events that will be offered this weekend, and would not be possible without sponsors including wisnet, Graphic Center, Korneli, International Paper, Fond du Lac Cyclery, and Agnesian Healthcare.

The race begins and ends at the new Children’s Museum location, 75 W. Scott Street, in the west side parking lot. The entry fee is $15.00 per rider plus a jar of peanut butter or jam/jelly. Children in carriers are included in this fee. The entry fee includes a t-shirt, water bottle and goodie bag. Please no tricycles or motorized bikes.
