Friday, May 18th

Young At Heart (6:30pm)
The 8th Annual Young At Heart Celebration is the Children's Museum of Fond du Lac's annual fundraiser. Please follow this link for more infomation. 
Pajama Party Friday (5:00pm-8:00pm)
The Children's Museum will be open until 8:00pm every 3rd Friday of the month! What could be better than a community pajama party. The fun includes fort building, mini manicures and other special activities.
 
Tour the Town Art Walk (5:00pm-8:00pm)
Talk a walk through Fond du Lac's historic downtown and experience some of the very best art, fine dining and entertainment.
Special Guest Artist: Mother Daughter Art 

Sunday, May 20th

Sunday Stories (11:30am-noon)
Museum visitors are invited to hear a story enhanced with creative dramatics and group participation. Featuring selections from the New York Public Library’s “100 Picture Books Everyone Should Know”, participants will be inspired by literature to create art and fun! Program is free with paid admission. No reservations are necessary.

Blue Star Museums Participation
CMFDL is participating in the national Blue Star Museum Program, to recognize the commitment made by our military and their families. From May 29, 2012 - September 2, 2012, active duty families that present their military ID's will receive FREE admission to the museum.  Please help us spread the word and thank a military family.

JUNE

Friday, June 1st

Just Build It! (4:00pm)
Come join us for LEGO Night! People ages 2 – 102 will enjoy our giant supply of LEGOS and space as we encourage creative building with a unique theme each month.  The best builds will be presented in a display case at the Children’s Museum.  Program is free with paid admission. 
 

Saturday, June 2nd & Sunday, June 3rd

Celebrate Waupun (Sat: 10am-5pm // Sun: 10am-4pm)

Play for All (6:00pm-7:30pm)
Play for All provides families an age appropriate, quiet place to come play in a welcoming environment where children can try new things while developing their communication, social and motor skills, and self-confidence.

Friday, June 29th

HealthWorks Street Fair (2:30pm - 5:30pm)
The Street Fair incorporates healthy fun, both indoors and out. Outside, participants will enjoy face painting, a free snack, goody bags, an obstacle course, bounce houses, the Police Department radar throw, and the Fire Station’s robotic dog, Patches. Inside, children will partake in a scavenger hunt at the library and of course, play at the museum.
 
 
Children and their caregivers can earn FREE admission to the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac after enjoying the Street Fair. In addition, street fair participants will be entered in a drawing to win great prizes!   
 
 
Agnesian HealthCare associates will be providing games and tips for healthy summer fun! The Healthy Kids & Community Coalition and the Asthma Coalition will also be on hand to provide useful information. Food vending will be provided by the Elks Club.

Commonwealth Classic (10:25am - 8:00pm)
Enjoy the thrill of professional and amateur bike races, high school races and kids events during the Commonwealth Classic. For more information go to TourOfAmericasDairyland.com
 
Commonwealth Classic Kids Races (5:30pm - 6:15pm)
Kids of all ages – whether experienced racers or still on training wheels – are encouraged to participate in the .18 mile course. Race categories include ages 6-7, 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13. A bike parade will be offered for children under the age of 6.
 
 
Treat bags will be given to the first 150 to register. The top competitors will receive ribbons and a $50 savings bond from National Exchange Bank & Trust. Bike helmets are required for participation in activities. Parents and guardians must be present at registration as well as during the parade and races.
 
 
Advanced registration is strongly recommended either by visiting the Children’s Museum or calling 920-929-0707. On site registration is also available beginning at 3:00pm at designated points in the Kid’s Zone on Sheboygan Street near Portland St.
