Museum Educator

This position is responsible for developing lesson plans and teaching programs (at the Museum and within area schools) that support the mission of the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac; to create hands-on learning experiences that engage children and their caregivers in a partnership of learning through play.  The Museum Educator works under the guidance of the Program Development Manager and supports the Education, Visitor Services and Communication team members, including feature teachers and program volunteers, providing high quality, organized and energetic leadership of museum programming.  8-20 hours per week based on class schedule and availability.  Opportunities for full-time employment exist if candidate is able to assist with Visitor Service responsibilities.

Visitor Service Team Members

Are you someone who enjoys interacting with children? The Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac is now hiring part time Visitor Service Team Members. Our Visitor Service Team members will be responsible for greeting guests, taking admissions, facilitating birthday parties, working with children on special projects and helping with the daily cleaning of the facility and exhibits.  Our Visitor Service Team is also responsible for supporting the mission of CMFDL and for promoting our programs.  5-20 hours per week are available for this position.  Applicants must be available to work weekends.

Internship Opportunities

Occasionally, we offer internships to students with coursework pertaining to childcare, teaching, accounting and business services.

Currently, we are seeking an Accounting Intern.

This position is a hired staff member or a contracted employee who assists with accounting duties for the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac. This position supports processing for accounts payable, payroll and sales tax, as well as report generation for financial analysis and tax
reporting. The Accounting Intern works under the guidance of the Communications & Development Manager or Executive Director.

Approximately 4 hours per week is required to accomplish the responsibilities of this position. Candidate may select from either a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.
